Sibyl Kleiner
Senior Research & Grants Manager
Sibyl Kleiner, PhD joined Sepsis Alliance in 2020 to help track scientific and medical research on sepsis and provide grant writing support. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Indiana University, where she trained in medical sociology, social psychology, and sociology of work and family. Following her degree, she worked in postdoctoral research appointments in the U.S. and Canada, and served as an analyst in state government. Her research has been published in BMC Health Services Research, Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Social Forces, Social Science Research, Journal of Family Issues, Archives of Sexual Behavior, Gender and Society, and Symbolic Interaction.
Sibyl is excited to apply her research and grant writing expertise toward the Sepsis Alliance mission of saving lives through sepsis awareness and education. When not at work, she is immersed in family life, nature, great books, and the arts.
