Sepsis Alliance Voices Advocacy Training: Storytelling for Advocates
April 18 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Date: Thursday, April 18th, 2024
Time: 2 pm ET – 3 pm ET / 11 am PT – 12 pm PT
Description:
Do you have a personal experience with sepsis – as a survivor, a caregiver, or a loved one of someone lost to sepsis?
Have you ever wondered if your personal story could help to create meaningful change for others impacted by sepsis?
It can! Join Sepsis Alliance for this free and virtual advocacy training on how personal storytelling can be used for impactful advocacy. Learn tips, tricks, and best practices for sharing your personal sepsis experience with legislators and other decision-makers, including how to make the issue of sepsis feel real and urgent; how to connect your personal story to the larger public health threat of sepsis; and how to get through to busy decision-makers.
NOTE: We encourage advocates to join live, to participate in a Q&A with the presenters. For those unable to join live, a recording will be made available.
