In 2011, Sepsis Alliance declared September to be Sepsis Awareness Month. Each year since, we’ve encouraged members of our community to get involved by asking their governors to declare Sepsis Awareness Month at the state level to help raise awareness of the leading cause of death in U.S. hospitals – sepsis. Thanks to the hard work of sepsis advocates all across the country, we had over 40 states issue Sepsis Awareness Month proclamations in 2022. In 2023, we want to have all 50 states on board! In this presentation, learn how you can do your part to bring Sepsis Awareness Month to your state.
