Theresa Brown

Theresa Brown is a Consulting Partner at Armanino, LLP – the largest California-based CPA and Consulting Firm. She focuses on finding comprehensive solutions to the broad spectrum of challenges clients face around people, processes and technology. She led the firm’s Microsoft Dynamics GP technology practice, then created and led the firm’s first Client Management Team.

She has more than 25 years of experience in management consulting and accounting leadership roles. Prior to joining Armanino, she was the Controller at Peet’s Coffee and Tea, Assistant Controller at Mizuno Sports and held various management roles at The San Francisco Music Box Company.

She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, including managing Armanino’s strategic acquisition and successful integration of Rose Business Solutions, which expanded the firm’s national Dynamics GP practice. She is a Microsoft Dynamics GP Certified Master and Microsoft Dynamics Certified Trainer.

Theresa is a long-time member, scholarship chair, and past president and treasurer of the East Bay Chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA). She also participated in building Armanino’s Women’s Advancement Network, which seeks to lessen the gender gap in leadership positions within the firm.

Sepsis took her mother-in-law suddenly in 2019, prompting her desire to learn more. She was introduced to the Sepsis Alliance and her passion is to educate others, in particular the growing number of in-home care-givers.
