Paul Royle

Paul Royle is the Chief Accounting Officer at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health, which is the state’s only comprehensive academic health system. His primary responsibilities are corporate finance, accounting, reporting, FP&A, and compliance. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and is also an HFMA Certified Healthcare Financial Professional.

He has over 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership roles. Before joining MUSC Health, he was the System Corporate Controller at Orlando Health and a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG. Paul has held leadership positions on other not-for-profit boards and is also a member of the Kiwanis Club.

Originally from Northern Ireland, he now resides with his wife and dogs in Charleston, South Carolina.
