Erika C. Collins
Erika C. Collins is a Partner in the Labor & Employment department at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath. Based in New York, she co-leads the firm’s International Employment Law practice group. Erika works with multinational public and private companies on complex international employment and human resources matters, with a particular focus on navigating cross-border legal and cultural differences.
Known for her knowledge and work around the globe, Erika has more than 25 years of experience advising multinational companies on myriad issues.
Erika serves as the editor of The Employment Law Review (14th Edition), which covers employment laws in 42 countries. She is also a former Co-Chair of the International Bar Association’s Employment and Industrial Relations Law Committee and the current Chair of Cambridge Forums’ International Labor and Employment Forum. Erika is also a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Erika attended Brown University for her undergraduate studies where she was captain of the Women’s Crew Team and University of California, Davis for law school.
In 2014, Erika was admitted to the ICU in septic shock after spending a week with flu-like symptoms. Having never heard of sepsis, Erika feels very fortunate that she received excellent and life-saving care. As a sepsis survivor, Erika is committed to advocating for and increasing sepsis education and awareness.
