Brendan McGinty
Brendan McGinty is the Director of Industry for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where he leads the largest academic-industrial advanced computing program in the world. He serves in a similar role for UIUC’s Center for AI Innovation and as Executive Director for its Center for Digital Agriculture and AIFARMS National AI Institute.
Brendan previously led education technology and systems for Carle Health System, founded corporate and political consulting companies, and led the successful technology transfer of NovaNET, originally PLATO, from the University of Illinois.
Brendan is a two-time sepsis survivor who brings technical and fundraising expertise to Sepsis Alliance. He is an alumnus of UIUC who enjoys life with his wife, Susan, and their family and friends.
